Dal 17 aprile al 30 ottobre 2026 la Chiesa di Sant’Anton a Zurigo ospiterà la mostra “Giardino dell’Eden”, dedicata alle sculture dell’artista Settimo Tamanini – Mastro7.

L’esposizione, realizzata su invito del parroco don Andreas Rellstab e con la curatela del dott. Marco Schmid, presenterà sette grandi sculture in rame puro soffiato a fuoco, cesellato e fiammato, appartenenti al ciclo artistico delle Piante delle Grandi Madri.

Presentazione

Si tratta di un percorso artistico, etico e spirituale che trae ispirazione dagli alberi biblici e dal loro profondo valore simbolico, trasformando la materia in forme capaci di evocare il rapporto tra uomo, natura e trascendenza.

Le sette Piante delle Grandi Madri

Il percorso espositivo riunisce sette alberi simbolici della tradizione biblica e mediterranea.

Melograno – Albero della Prosperità
Simbolo di fecondità e benedizione divina, rappresenta l’unità del cosmo e l’armonia tra i popoli.

Fico – Albero dell’Accoglienza
Antica pianta simbolo di fertilità, conoscenza e pacificazione, immagine di raccoglimento e trasformazione spirituale.

Vite – Albero della Gioia
Fin dall’antichità segno di abbondanza e benedizione, con i suoi tralci che esprimono la forza vitale della natura.

Mandorlo – Albero del Risveglio
Il primo albero a fiorire, simbolo del rinnovarsi della vita e della luce della creazione.

Melo – Albero della Conoscenza
Albero antichissimo che rappresenta la conoscenza e la ricerca della verità.

Roveto Ardente – Albero dell’Oreb
Simbolo della rivelazione divina e della luce spirituale che illumina senza consumare.

Quercia di Mamre – Albero del Rispetto
Pianta sacra nella Bibbia, simbolo delle tre religioni monoteistiche e dei valori universali di accoglienza, pace e rispetto.

Arte, fuoco e spiritualità

Nel pensiero artistico di Mastro7, l’albero diventa una scultura vivente, simbolo di armonia tra l’uomo e l’universo.

Dopo una lunga carriera come maestro orafo e cesellatore, Settimo Tamanini ha intrapreso una nuova ricerca dedicata alla scultura monumentale, plasmando il metallo con il fuoco per generare forme nuove e cariche di significato spirituale.

Con la mostra “Giardino dell’Eden”, le Piante delle Grandi Madri trovano nella Chiesa di Sant’Anton un luogo ideale di dialogo tra arte contemporanea e spiritualità, invitando il pubblico a riscoprire il rapporto profondo tra uomo, natura e creazione.

From 17 April to 30 October 2026, the Church of St. Anton in Zurich will host the exhibition “Garden of Eden”, dedicated to the sculptures of the Italian artist Settimo Tamanini – Mastro7.

The exhibition, organized at the invitation of parish priest Fr. Andreas Rellstab and curated by Dr. Marco Schmid, will present seven monumental sculptures made of pure copper, fire-blown, chased and flamed, belonging to the artistic cycle “Plants of the Great Mothers.”

A sacred tree symbolizing the three monotheistic religions and the universal values of hospitality, peace and respect.

In the artistic vision of Mastro7, the tree becomes a living sculpture, a symbol of harmony between humanity and the universe.

After a long career as a master goldsmith and metal chaser, Settimo Tamanini dedicated himself to monumental sculpture, transforming metal through fire into powerful symbolic forms.

Vom 17. April bis 30. Oktober 2026 zeigt die Kirche St. Anton in Zürich die Ausstellung „Garten Eden“, die den Skulpturen des italienischen Künstlers Settimo Tamanini – Mastro7 gewidmet ist.

Die Ausstellung, die auf Einladung von Pfarrer Andreas Rellstab und unter der Kuratierung von Dr. Marco Schmid organisiert wurde, präsentiert sieben monumentale Skulpturen aus reinem Kupfer, feuergeblasen, ziseliert und geflammt, aus dem Werkzyklus „Pflanzen der Großen Mütter“.

In der künstlerischen Vision von Mastro7 wird der Baum zu einer lebendigen Skulptur, Symbol für die Harmonie zwischen Mensch und Universum.

Nach einer langen Karriere als Goldschmied und Ziseleur widmete sich Settimo Tamanini der monumentalen Skulptur und formt das Metall mit Feuer zu kraftvollen symbolischen Formen.
